We bought this dishwasher to replace our 12 year old dishwasher, so I am comparing everything to this old Baumatic dishwasher. The new dishwasher is quiet and has a number of improvements (6. meaning), etc. but I don't think it's a big deal. At first glance, the new dishwasher is made of cheaper materials, lacks insulation and is only placed on 3 legs. The arrangement of the baskets again does not suit us very well compared to the old dishwasher, there are different wide "places", which can be useful with a large variety of dishes, but for us a regular arrangement around the basket would be better. Also, the cutlery basket is not ideal for me, the good thing is that we can continue to use our old basket, which picks up about twice as much cutlery. The dishwashing itself is very good, there was a pile of dishes left over from an old broken dishwasher for the first wash, so it was a real stress test. However, the dishes were not completely dry when finished, hence this as a minus. For next time we will try disabling the automatic door opening and see if it will be better or worse, however the good thing is that this function can be disabled. Overall, considering the price of the dishwasher, despite some weak points, I believe it is a good choice and only time will tell how much it will last.

This is our third Whirlpool dishwasher. The second one lasted us almost 12 years in a household of five. You can see the evolution of the car wash over the years.
