I'm very excited about this record. This is my first induction hob, I can only compare it to gas, cast iron and ceramic. Induction reacts quickly like a gas, but heats the entire bottom of the pot super evenly, which impressed me quite a bit. It's not entirely true that the hob doesn't get hot when you use it, but you're unlikely to set the kitchen on fire with a forgotten tea towel or burn your hands. I'm really comfortable cooking on it and I'm starting to believe in energy saving.

There's less space on the hob for more really big dishes than I was used to, but it's not that important.
