The source is characterised by a quiet fan with a 120 mm diameter thermoregulation and active PFC power factor correction. Thermoregulation ensures that the fan rotates only at the speeds required to maintain the ideal operating temperature.
It also supports C6 / C7 power supplies that are needed for Intel Haswell processors. The source complies with the requirements for electrical and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Protective circuits are designed to deal with overvoltage, short-circuit at the output and total overload. The power is supplied without a power cord.
