Exmor for professional Full HD
NX5R offers the performance of the latest imaging generation display. Full HD is now progressive, which is moving more natural shot instead of the original interlaced output predecessor (HXR-NX5). Three Exmor sensor size 1/2.8" provides 2.07 million effective pixels and red, blue and green lights are collected independently for each of the sensors which contribute to high resolution, high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. LSI technology delivers intelligent noise reduction, improving detail reproduction and even corrects distortion.
Key functions at your fingertips
During an event, it is certainly not a good idea to lose time. That's why XN5R is a clear menu and responsive joystick on the handle in order to move through the menus at the fastest speed. With the ability to change parameters directly on the screen, your eyes do not have to leave the current events.In low light, you do not have to look for solutions. Just enough light with a built-in LED with an optimal colour temperature so that your records are not affected by badly balanced colours.
Advanced WiFi network connection with NFC
With built-in WiFi connection, the camera is an effective tool for many of the procedures and the real multipurpose workhorse. With FTP (FTPS) to send free content directly to the repository for further processing. Thanks to Ustream it can safely conduct business presentations or video conferences.A remote control makes NX5R ideal partner for multi-camera shoots. Mount it on a tripod and use a smart phone or tablet to monitor the frame, checking the focus, adjusting the iris, zoom, and start recording another.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio.
