The ingenious design of the MSR Elixir 3 Grey tent
The unique two-span dome design of the Elixir 3 provides plenty of space for comfortable rest. The tent has 2 large entrances with side zippers equipped with StayDry rainwater drains. The interior space is then divided into 2 hallways and a living area that can accommodate 3 large car mattresses. The colour-coded rods, clips and clamps allow very quick and easy assembly. The MSR Elixir 3 tent will become your inseparable partner on trips to the outdoors and on adventures.
Unique Fast & Light system
The Fast & Light system allows you to build the tent without an inner tent, which is the ideal solution if you want to achieve the lowest possible weight of 2.66 kg. The MSR Elixir 3 includes the MSR Footprint liner, which protects the tent from mechanical damage and moisture. The MSR tent's canopy and groundsheet are made of durable materials with a water-repellent DWR finish.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
