I always test two settings at the specified voltage level:
1) Current as described.
2) Maximum current that still makes sense - the voltage does not drop too much, so the output power is higher than in the previous setting + this power does not turn off the overload protection even after a few minutes + the temperature of the charger is reasonable max about 50 degrees. USB A
