Instead of a general review, I will write a reality from practice, maybe it will help someone in their choice. I've been looking for diagnostics in my garage for a long time, but I've been choosing devices somewhere between 6-10k and so far circumstances haven't quite pushed me to invest that amount. Now, before my scheduled MOT, a "check emissions system" message popped up on my Renault Talisman and I was done. Generally I don't like to visit garages and so on Sunday evening I sat down at Alza and ordered this box for a few pennies so I could reliably drive out the fault the next day incl. "freeze frame" and order a new lambda sensor. So it fulfilled its purpose perfectly and overall I am very pleasantly surprised by the device, because it can do everything not only for these crisis scenarios. Workmanship very decent, display clear, buttons a little uncomfortable long chattering operation, but can be survived. What is important are the functions and they correspond to what is in the description. For modern cars, this is the ideal "mandatory equipment", which you can use for checking before the MOT (ME) but also on foreign holidays, when you get some of those untelling warnings that newer cars like to generate and instead of relaxing on the beach, you discuss the worst possible scenarios with the AI.
