An absolute tragedy. I pre-drilled a hole 8,5 for M10 thread in the flat bar 5 mm thick. I hadn't even got the tapping in properly yet, and I jumped in the wicket. I bought a spindle from a reputable manufacturer and after a few turns back and forth and using machine cutting emulsion, the spindle rounded the head of the tap. Back to the shop and a set of 3 M10s. Which cost me with the spindle almost as much as the whole set purchased here, but done in a few minutes. If the set sold here was offered for reconstruction e.g. rusty thread (or into the flea so max.2mm) it's fine. I haven't tried the eye, but I'm under no illusions.

The gate is just for decoration. When cutting M8, it couldn't even handle 4 turns of the tap.
