I bought on recommendation and I have nothing to complain about. The meat was soft and with lots of juices, the vegetables soft but not mushy.
The cookbook that came with the pot is more or less useless. It is full of ads for other CrockPot products and offers recipes like "beef with apricots", etc. The photos in the cookbook are amateurish and ugly, no one would want to cook according to them.

Absolutely super helper in situations where you need to do anything other than stand at the stove. I've cooked stew, pork roast, soups, beef broth, pork knuckles, roast chicken and duck in it. Gradually, I am moving years of proven food into the pot and so far the bug has not disappointed me. Tender, juicy meat, uncooked vegetables, wonderful.
It didn't disappoint me in any way but it's a shame that there is no option to delay the start of cooking. Then it would be perfect.
