I bought the strap because its design limits/prevents accidental opening by some object/clothing, which is useful for some activities/sports and it did that without a problem. The problem, however, was that the axles jumped out when tied and pulled harder (e. g. when carrying a backpack). As for the comfort, the strap was not comfortable, I could feel it all the time and it also caused a fungus on my wrist, which is why I changed it for another one.
