I completely sharpen my legs to 400, then I continue to 1000 and I finish to 3000. I can then shave my legs. I' ve seen people do water here in reviews. Somehow it doesn' t need to be solved extra, just have the top part of the stone constantly moist. If it dries, it needs to be soaked (if the stove is drunk enough, it will not dry when grinding)
I sharpened my legs so that I could shave with them
at 3000 I have a surface imperfection, there is a tiny hole

Meets what the manufacturer states. To give you an idea, 1000 is going slower. The stone is suitable for knives with an established edge that only needs to be sharpened. Sufficient for dull kitchen knives. Who needs to change the angle of the blade or repair more damage thee even coarser stones.
