I needed a replacement for a now year-old Motorola One (I bought it about 4 years ago because there was still a Google One program guaranteeing updates to select devices for several years. )
I chose the most affordable Pixel - mainly because of Google's support and reasonable display size. I don't need a 7" sail, I don't play games or plan to watch movies on my phone. The phone meets exactly what I need from it - a nimble and up-to-date system, 5G, very good battery life. I don't even need some ultra-pixel camera - but I have to admit that the Pixel takes very decent photos (I'm comparing it to the iPhone 12 Pro).
The phone probably has a plastic back - I don't care, it's in the packaging anyway.
Overall - great satisfaction.

Excellent camera, including the selfie camera, which is not often rated well in reviews, but for me it is excellent. The optical stabilisation also works great, you won't notice any difference in the photos compared to the Iphone 11 PRO. The camera can take live photos and other gadgets.

It's my second Pixel in a row so I know what I'm getting into. I rate very positively Google's approach to Pixel phones with service etc.
I don't use wireless charging so the absence doesn't matter.
5G is already working and it's awesome.

I bought it because of pure android - I have good experience that phones last longer with it, because they are not slowed down by system extensions. Except for the mentioned fingerprint unlocking, I am satisfied so far (I've had the phone for a week). First of all the camera and sound are really wow.
