9/10 from me. The game gets unnecessary criticism. Spiderman will of course be hard to top, the developers set the bar high, but Wolverine definitely didn't disappoint, it delivered what I expected from the game and I absolutely enjoyed it. I recommend it.

Wolverine is a huge disappointment for me. It doesn't look exceptional in any way, the brutality has no weight, and the whole thing feels like an expensive, generic slop that's just relying on the Marvel brand and the Insomniac name. The combat system is practically on autopilot: you mash a few buttons, the game doesn't really push you to think or experiment, and the flashy animations soon stop working as a substitute for actual gameplay. The gameplay is monotonous, linear and terribly boring. After a while, everything just repeats itself and instead of feeling like you're controlling Wolverine, you're just ticking off another corridor and another group of enemies. The worst part is that the combat was supposed to be the main draw. Instead, it's shallow, without tension and without satisfaction. The game has no original ideas, rhythm or energy — just a pile of familiar elements put together into a polished but empty package. For me, it's a 5/10, and that's mainly for the production values and the brand. Otherwise, it's a tired, repetitive and desperately uninteresting PS5 exclusive.
