Overall I rate it very well. I bought two pieces to expand my home network and they fulfilled their purpose. Wi-Fi is available even where it was previously down or weak. The device is small, simple to set up and perfectly sufficient for normal home use. For casual surfing, mobile, TV, smart home and everyday internet use, it's a good solution. Who expects a professional mesh system or full speed as directly from the router, must reckon with the limits of the extender, but at this price I am satisfied.
I bought two pieces of Mercusys ME30 at once, because I needed to extend the Wi-Fi network at home to places where the signal was weaker. For the price, I am very satisfied. The setup was simple, the device paired quickly, and after proper placement, coverage at home improved noticeably. I appreciate the support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so it can be used for a regular smart device as well as a phone, TV or laptop.
I also like the indicator light that lets you know if the extender is positioned well or too far from the router. An Ethernet port is also an advantage, so you can connect, for example, a TV, computer or other device via cable. For me a good price/performance ratio, especially if you don't want to pull cables all over the apartment/house.
You have to take into account that it is still a Wi-Fi extender, not a full-fledged professional network installation. The speed will not always be the same as the main router, especially if the extender is further away or there are more walls between it and the router. The Ethernet port is only 100 Mbps, so for someone who wants maximum gigabit speed over cable, this may be a limitation. You also need to take some time to find the right location, because if you put it too far away from the router, the signal will no longer spread ideally.

I bought it years ago. Several firmware updates have been released since then. WPA3 and later EasyMesh support was added. I tested EasyMesh with a Mercusys MR90X router and it worked. As an emergency small extender, it was good. But otherwise I use more powerful routers, where I replace the firmware with OpenWrt.
