After all those Xiaomi and OnePlus phones, I needed a change, so I chose the mid-range Motorola for a trial and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Everything is snappy, everything works first time, the system has a lot of nice Moto tweaks that are missing elsewhere, and the design is at least a little different from all those glass-and-glass pancakes.

The cameras were quite surprising compared to the reviews + optical stabilization on the main camera and AF on the wide angle (AF on the wide angle many times do not even have flags. )

The display is high brightness and surprisingly, despite the 8-bit colors, it's nicer to look at than Xiaomi's

It's too early to evaluate battery life but it still lasts the same as the Xiaomi 11T Pro with 5000 mAh (vs 4400 mAh at Motorola) thanks to better Android optimization

Tristic selection of screen protectors and covers, pay God for the Polish manufacturer 3mk, which did not disappoint and has the perfect film and at least TPU case on offer for this phone

So far the evaluation after 1 week. We'll see next year.
The size is not the best (too big), but compared to the competition it's good.
Phone calls and SMS work.
So far it's running well, not stuttering, doing what it's supposed to do and when it's supposed to do it.
Notifications only when tapped, even my 3 year old phone for 3k. has a notification LED.
The roundness of the display is weird, but I guess it's just a matter of habit.

Surprising software flaws in the details. Cannot swap the order of the bottom buttons. They have a reverse order than usual. You can't adjust the strength of the ringer selection or the tactile response. The vibrations of the tactile response are beautiful but weak.
The image of the contact when calling is in a small circle on an otherwise large and blank display.
When a call comes in, it reads Czech flawlessly who is calling you. But very weakly. It will disappear in the ring tone. Cannot be set.
The glowing edges when a call or message comes in are great. But again, it shines very weakly and faintly. It can't be amplified.

Works as expected, excellent WIFI calling. To connect to the VODAFONE Internet, you have to manually set the "Access Point Name" to Internet in "Edit Access Point" and SAVE IT (it's a bit fiddly).

I picked up the previous phone out of necessity, I am thrilled with this choice after a few days of use.
Compared to the previous phone, the Edge 40 is about 1 cm smaller in height, thinner, lighter. Fantastic to hold and use
Great colours, I chose the green one and it's absolutely awesome.
The camera finally shoots as it should, the previous phone in low light conditions photos half a second showed how it was shot and then some "smart algorithm" crushed it into unusable crap and there was no god how to turn it off. The Edge 40 shoots as it should and I like the photos (and I am quite demanding).
I think I'll get used to wireless charging quickly. I bought a "puck" for home and work and one just throws the phone on the table and it charges. Okay, fine.
The display is gorgeous, I didn't understand the roundness before, but it's great to use

The sound of the speaker is something incredible. The previous phone wasn't bad, but the Edge 40's rendering quality is just famous.

Instead of the former silicone, the protective cover (included in the package) is now plastic, which I appreciate, the silicone was black.
The refresh rate is 60 -144 Mhz, sometimes it jerks as the phone tries to optimize power consumption, so it pushes it down, but knowing Moto, it detunes. It's not something that bothers me, I've just noticed it's a very sporadic hesitation though. And if you don't mind, you select a hard value and that's it.
Overall, I have to say that even with the current discount, I'm very glad I upgraded my phone.
It doesn't have a headphone jack, but I didn't even notice it, I don't need it. I looked it up after reading another review.

I connected the phone to my old Motorola G73 5G and pulled up all the apps except T and CH betting apps myself and placed them on the desktop exactly the same way. Of course, also saved photos and notes, sms chats from Viber, etc. I had to delete and reinstall the Ticket app for public transport and CK Fischer. I'm really happy with the phone as I was when I got the KRZR many years ago (Motorola's second but skinny V-type Razr) Amazing design phone with an excellent camera and a quality curved display.
I'm glad I went back to Motorola years ago instead of no-name Chinese phones. The sound is Dolby Atmoss perfect bass.
