I am very satisfied with the Dreame MOVA Mower 1000. Even at first start-up, it managed to mow 501 m² of rugged land - without hesitation, without the need for a perimeter wire. The test was conducted under challenging conditions - wet grass, dirt, small branches and slightly sloping terrain - and yet everything went smoothly. Total mowing time was 847 minutes, but given the wet conditions I expect it to be much quicker next time. Installation is very simple thanks to advanced LiDAR navigation and 3D space scanning, no need to bury anything or pull cables. Just define work and restricted zones in the application. A big advantage is AI obstacle detection. For example, if a car came into the path of a lawnmower, it automatically avoided it without hitting the mower. You can adjust the lateral obstacle clearance (10 / 15 / 20 cm) to suit your exact needs. The second function allows you to set the height of obstacles (5 / 10 / 15 / 20 cm), but I recommend caution here - if you have taller grass, I recommend turning off the height detection, otherwise the mower may miss spots unnecessarily. The app is only in English for now, but it is very clear and intuitive. Even for those who don't speak English, it's easy to use - just take a screenshot and translate it using Google Translate. The battery lasts roughly 30 minutes on a single charge, which may seem low, but in terms of practical operation it doesn't matter. The mower recharges itself and continues where it left off - all day long, until it's done. Problems I ran into a problem when setting up the zones - the path between two work zones must be at least 1 meter wide, otherwise the connection fails. In the end, I solved it by creating another zone without chopping, which only serves as a "transition" zone. It may be an application limitation or a minor bug, but either way it can be worked around. The Dreame MOVA 1000 is a smart, reliable and modern mower that offers precise mowing without the need for cables. Obstacle detection is excellent, the app is simple and the settings are wide. The lower battery life is compensated by automatic return to the station and logical continuation of work. If you have a rugged site and don't want to deal with cables, the MOVA 1000 is an excellent choice.
