For shooting in rough terrain or from a train window, the rear ring is an absolute must. That's why I bought the cover. Otherwise I normally use a regular one, without the ring and lens cover.
Easy deployment on mobile.
High strength.
The ring can also be used as a stand or to hang your mobile phone.
The lens cover is very stiff. It makes some shots miss because it's just always closed 😂 and I need both hands to open it. Maybe it'll work itself out in time.
The ring could have been machined a little better. The edges are quite sharp and after a few minutes on the finger it hurts a bit.
