Before replacement I used cheaper bulbs from Compass(COMPASS Bulb 12V H7 55W PX26d WHITE LASER) and there is some difference. The question is whether it is mainly because after 2-3 years it just doesn't shine like before. The wow effect is not happening. I assume the lifetime will be max one year. If you want a whiter light than the standard, the bulbs from Compass will suffice.

It shines significantly better than a conventional bulb, but slightly less than a very basic LED without homologation
Homologated solution for good money
The price is more than half that of basic LED bulbs
Easy to assemble
Very decent lifetime, just be careful when installing, do not touch the glass part of the bulb, the lifetime deteriorates rapidly
