We used mini chlorine tablets at first. As soon as the outside temperature rose and the hot tub maintained a higher temperature, the water turned green. In addition, the chlorine caused foam to form when the jets were on. Already after the first application the water lightened and after the chlorine ran out the foam stopped.
It's not an instant miracle. After two applications and therefore two weeks, the water is still green, although much less than with chlorine.
