My first complaint was rejected, saying that only distilled water should be used in the vacuum cleaner and therefore I was using it contrary to the instructions. The second complaint of this defect has already been recognized and the device has been allegedly repaired. However, after receiving the repaired device, the water flow became even more intense. I don' t want to risk another repair. On the other hand, if I compare the vacuum cleaner with the Xiaomi S10+ device, this one is certainly better made and with more functions. In short, if it works, it' s a really good helper.

Edit after about half a year of use (and a second complaint): It happens over and over again that the station starts leaking water all over the place. At the same time, the nozzles in the robot get clogged and it doesn't wipe. So I would reconsider buying it. I use unfiltered water from the tap (the water is not particularly hard or enriched with minerals), the complaint service recommended me to use distilled water twice (even though the official roborock website does not recommend this). TLDR: I would definitely not buy this vacuum cleaner today.

I have an S8 Pro Ultra and a Qrevo side by side, which is about 12k cheaper. The performance is barely 2% comparable. They are both hard workers, but there is one big difference that I noticed during my first test. The Qrevo does have a slightly higher airflow (smaller opening, review), but compared to the S8 you won't notice it on any floor, both are perfect. But you will notice that the difference in navigation is about 30% in favour of the S8. Qrevo disconnected my cable from the purifier, S8 bypassed it. Qrevo didn't dare to go between the chairs where there was about 1cm of space, S8 went in there, fondling every leg he fucked; -D. I was under the impression that the S8 has better navigation just for obstacles, but even in standard tasks it's just more diligent and sucks where Qrevo sucks. I only have floats and a relatively uncomplicated layout, but it was clear after a few tests that the S8 just knows its stuff. Qrevo has round rotary mops which I find more efficient, but when I first bought the S8 Pro Ultra I was pouring out solidly dirty water after the first mopping. Neither is bad, but if you want it to go just about everywhere tight, the S8 is the way to go. Even when vacuuming along the walls, the S8 is more cuddly, the Qrevo is sometimes distant. The differences are not large, but they are significant in the result. According to the tests on YouTube and Reddit, I got to know that Qrevo is better. Sorry, it's definitely not. If I want a robot, the priority is to vacuum as much space as possible. Already even Roomba i7 did not fit between my chairs and you do not want to take a rag to rub the rest of the dust where they missed. You want a pro, and the S8 delivers. In the photos I attach the map difference. S8 is just more careful. Read my review of the Roborock S8 Ultra Pro. Conclusion: 12k is a lot, but after a side by side comparison I kept the S8 Pro Ultra without hesitation.
