Interestingly priced package contains 2 plastic cups (measured 100ml, max to rim 125ml) + 2 spoons adequate to the size of the cups; they'll fit in a teapot; measured: 0.6L of water (from 20st C ->100st C) = 5min 17s; switches off after approx. 10-15s after reaching the boiling point; The max draw is 0.6L but I think it fits a little more consumption according to the wattmeter: 625W at 20deg. C, 619W at 100deg. C (i.e. that it should not blow fuses in hotels like a classic 2000W pressure cooker) wiring - 230V - three-pin The lower part of the pressure cooker, where the cooking spiral is, is not hot at all after boiling water. It's more like a translucent plastic container. The temperature on the body of the pressure cooker after boiling water is at the limit of keeping your hand on it for a second or two. The handle is cool even when boiling. It should be perfectly adequate for tea for the kids or 2 morning coffees.
it's not exactly a negative: after boiling the water, you can't immediately turn on the kettle with a new batch of cold water, but you have to wait a while for the kettle to cool down (about 10min? ); but that's the way most of the speeders are; the strainer/filter is really only for coarse pebbles and not for fine pebbles etc.
