Moreover, the instructions were for the version with disc brakes. I had a problem with tightening the stem to the handlebars, the recommended torque was constantly turning, which could cause a lot of mischief. I recommend taking off and wiping off the Vaseline. What is the biggest problem is that on the lightest two gears, the little guy can't turn the pedals backwards. the chain falls off in third gear or even falls out of the front sprocket. Probably a tax that they put 8 speeds on such a short pitch. Hopefully a chain guide will help, or a few miles and the chain will loosen and not be so tight and allow slack. At worst, it ensures a claim. Not to be pejorative, for 5,5k on sale on Alza it's a blast. Every boy's dream. It's really worth the few hours of work. You can't even buy a decent second-hand car for that kind of money.
