I was planning to use it with an iPad with USB-C, first as a combination of headphone+MIDI controller (works) and then as a combination of MIDi controller+ext. USB sound card (Focusrite Solo 2nd gen USB-A). This doesn't work because charging the hub can't power the soundbar and the iPad can't see it. I solved the problem by plugging the cable-free hub directly into the iPad's USB-C connector.
