Although I am not very skilled with wiring and cabling, the wiring was simple "put it where it fits" style. The only decent DIY I did was with the antenna signal amplifier (connecting two blue ANT wires). When I put the car in reverse, the radio correctly switches to the parking visual, but does not show how close I am to the obstacle. There was a green "parking" cable but it wasn't clear to me what to plug it into. However, it does not disturb and overall I am very satisfied with the radio.
