The amino acid HMB (hydroxymethylbutyrate) is a naturally occurring substance in the body that is involved in protein metabolism. HMB protects muscle tissue, promoting its growth and regeneration.

Effects and Potential Benefits of HMB

HMB has no approved health claims. No effects are on the list of as-yet unassessed health claims, the so-called on-hold list.

Dosage

Take 1–2 capsules daily.
Training days: It is recommended to take HMB about 30–60 minutes before exercise to ensure maximum muscle protection during physical exertion.
Non-training days: HMB can be taken at any time during the day, ideally at regular intervals to maintain a stable level in the body.
