Ink droplets are absorbed directly into the PLA filament helping to create prints of different colours and complex patterns without the need to constantly change the filament. New 3D colour ink PLA filament
The printer uses a newly developed PLA filament that absorbs ink droplets for superior 3D colour printing. Because of this, da Vinci Colour is able to print products with finely tinted shades, as the ink blends in the same way as a regular inkjet printer. This new PLA filament is also stronger than conventional PLA filaments resulting in products that are shock-resistant. It's a highly versatile material that gives users a lot of creative freedom.
