Weighted clothing types
Weighted vests
Ideal for whole-body exercises, such as squats and pull-ups. Some vests have removable weights, so you can adjust the vest weight as needed. A typical weighted vest weighs between 5 and 10 kg.
Ankle and wrist weights
Used to provide extra load for arm and leg power exercises, but can also come in handy in general gym training and other workouts. They are very popular among athletes, such as volleyball, football and hockey players, runners and many others. Running with ankle weights, for example, provides a vigorous exercise for your thigh and calf muscles. Ankle and wrist weights range from 0.5 to 2 kg.
Weighted bags
A tool for whole-body exercise. This bag can replace your dumbbells or Olympic bar if you use it for squatting. Exercise with a weighted bag is more complex and natural than conventional dumbbell workouts and actively involves other muscle groups than just those you aim to primarily exercise. Compared to traditional dumbbells, the downside is that weighted bags have a fixed (nonadjustable) weight.
