Key features of the GameSir G7 Pro 8K Wireless Controller for PC - Royal2 Edition
- Supports a polling rate of 8000Hz
- Sticks use non-contact TMR technology to prevent drift
- Triggers feature a switchable system between Hall Effect mode and microswitch stops
- ABXY buttons have fast-response optical microswitches
- The rear includes two lockable buttons and two small macro bumpers
- Integrated six-axis gyroscope for precise motion aiming
Polling rate
The device supports a polling rate of up to 8000Hz in both wired and wireless modes. This value reduces input latency and transmits every movement with high precision. The responsiveness of the buttons and sticks helps you react quickly during gameplay. An integrated six-axis gyroscope complements this with precise aiming using the controller's motion.
Magnetic sticks
The controller uses Gen-2 TMR technology, which works on the principle of magnetic resistance without physical contact. This system eliminates unwanted stick drift and extends their lifespan. The sticks require less power, conserving the integrated battery. This gives you smooth, linear control with no dead zone.
Dual triggers with adjustable stops
The design includes triggers that can be switched between analogue Hall Effect mode and a microswitch stop. The analogue mode provides smooth action for precise throttle control in racing games. The microswitch mode, on the other hand, offers a quick, short-travel press for rapid firing.
Controls
The main ABXY buttons use optical microswitches for fast activation, and the mechanical D-pad provides clear tactile feedback. On the back, there are two lockable buttons and two additional mini bumpers. These elements support macro recording with up to 32 individual steps. Full customisation of functions, button mapping, and calibration is handled by the accompanying GameSir Connect software.
