Detailed Picture
The monitor uses a 40" IPS panel with an anti-glare finish and a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels. This format, UWQHD, provides fine detail for both work and entertainment on a 21:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The monitor works with a 10-bit colour depth and displays a wide palette of colours, covering 118% sRGB and 94% DCI-P3. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification confirms its ability to process content with a high dynamic range and achieve a brightness of up to 400cd/m².
Smooth Gaming
To achieve a smooth picture in dynamic game scenes, the MSI MAG401QR monitor offers a 155Hz refresh rate. Combined with a fast 1ms (MPRT) response time, it reduces motion blur. This combination of parameters contributes to sharpness even with fast camera movements. Smoothness is further supported by AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology, which synchronises the graphics card's frame rate with the monitor and prevents screen tearing.
Ergonomics and Comfortable Viewing
The monitor stand allows you to tilt the screen from -5° to 20° to find the optimal viewing angle. For more flexible placement, the monitor supports 100 × 100mm VESA mounts. The monitor includes Flicker-free technology to reduce backlight flicker and a blue light filter, which reduce eye strain during extended use. Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture features increase productivity when working with multiple signal sources.

Colour Coverage (Gamut)
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB will be appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
Given in nits or cd/m², this value determines the brightness level of the monitor. A brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
