What to focus on when buying a car bag

Type

  • Carrying bag - with straps or handles that allow you to pick up the bag and easily transport it with all the contents. Most of them cannot be fixedly attached inside the trunk.
  • Organiser - usually attached to the backseat, so this type technically doesn’t travel in the trunk. Their disadvantage is that they are not designed for carrying.

Compactness

  • Rigid - they are more durable and can withstand rougher treatment. But when you need the trunk space, you have to move them out of the car.
  • Foldable - soft bags that are less durable but can be folded up when needed. You can leave them in the trunk and they take up very little space.
