Wiper blades are an essential part of car safety features. If you want to make sure they are working as they should, it is recommended that you change them on a regular basis — at least once or twice per year.

Design
Frame-style - standard wiper blades with an affordable price tag; suitable for less demanding customers.
Flat - work better than standard wiper blades and are very easy to install; their metallic parts are also perfectly protected from rust.
Other parameters
Location - make sure you know what car window you are buying wiper blades for; windshield and rear wiper blades are different.
Length - wiper blade length should match that of the original blades, otherwise they may cross and jam or leave wet streaks.
Handy tips
Never tear off frozen wiper blades stuck to the windshield. You could easily damage the rubber strip.
Once wiper blades start leaving significant streaks, it’s a sure sign that you should change them. Driving with worn wiper blades risks decreased visibility and worse. If the blades start falling apart, they may also scratch the windshield.
