The Wellion SARS-CoV-2 Ag Rapid Test is an approved self-test for Covid-19. Its advantage is easy sampling only from the edge of the nostril. It is intended for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen SARS-CoV-2 in a sample obtained by smearing from human mucosa. It is recommended to smear the nasal mucosa, optionally from the oropharynx (oral pharynx) or nasopharynx (nasopharynx). The test is intended exclusively for in vitro diagnostics and for professional use in clinical laboratories and for use by professional healthcare professionals in the place of health care, but with the permission of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, use by a lay person is possible . The test result will be displayed after a test time of 15 minutes.
