Thanks to the support of Cricut Smart Materials, you can cut without a backing and in long motifs up to 3.6 m in length. Plotr offers fast and accurate cutting, Bluetooth connectivity, pen/marker writing and metallic foil effects with the Cricut Foil Transfer Tool. With the Design Space app you can prepare signs, decorations, labels and personalised gifts with professional results.

Smart Materials: Cutting up to 3.6 m without backing
With Cricut Smart Materials, you cut without a backing and in long strips - ideal for wall lettering, banners, window displays and mass label production. Insert a roll, set the length in Design Space and Explore 4 seamlessly processes motifs up to 12 feet (≈ 3.6 m) in a piece.
Fast and precise cutting
Optimised cutting profiles and fine pressure settings ensure clean edges even on fine details. And with Smart Materials, you'll get more speed - especially for long designs or when you're making the same motif repeatedly.
Writing, drawing and foil effects
Plotter can do more than just cut. Insert your Cricut pens/markers into the holder and let the machine write or draw - elegant envelopes, labels or cards are created in one click. With the Foil Transfer Tool you can add metallic foils (gold, silver, etc. ) without heat, quickly and with high precision.
Tools for different projects
The Fine-Point Blade is standard for versatile use. For thicker or special materials, reach for the Deep-Point Blade, for laminated fabrics the Bonded-Fabric Blade. Use the Scoring Stylus to gently crease the folds of the cardboard - folding boxes and invitations will be much cleaner.
Mat and "matless" workflow
For classic materials, you work on pads 30.5 × 30.5 cm or 30.5 × 60 cm. When using Smart Materials, the pad is not needed, which will speed up preparation and reduce accessory consumption.
Bluetooth and Design Space
Connect the Plotr via Bluetooth and control everything in the Design Space app (PC/Mac, iOS/Android). In the library you will find thousands of templates, fonts and projects; you can easily import your documents (SVG, PNG, etc. ). The app takes you step by step - from design to final cut.
Print Then Cut
You print the motif on your home printer and Explore 4 then cuts it precisely around the print. Perfect for labels, stickers or personalised gifts - no complicated cutting with scissors.
Thoughtful details and accessories
You can store spare blades and pens in the body of the plotter so you always have them on hand. For long rolls of Smart Materials, the Cricut Roll Holder can be added - simplifies material feeding and improves cutting uniformity for longer motifs.
