Media Converter Edimax EW-913SC1 + is the best solution for converting optical fiber and copper connections to ensure high speed Gigabit Ethernet.With this converter you can use the data transfer up to 10 km long single-mode fiber optic cable and then convert it to metallic UTP connection from terminal.
Edimax EW-913SC1 + is fully compatible with the IEEE 802 standards3ab 1000 Base-T and 802nd3z 1000 Base-LX.The converter will find the body of an RJ-45 port for connection to 1000 Base-T devices, such as computer or switch, and an optical connector for connection to 1000 Base-LX connectivity possessing the device.
The device provides monitoring functions by LED indications.Fiber Link Alarm allows effectively monitor and maintain critical optical connections more efficiently.Integrated voltage supervisor IC, it automatically resets all chipsets in converter when the voltage drops below 2.9 V, which ensures correct operation of the optical and TP port in a storm or unstable power fluctuations.Plug and Play will sign it makes it that to install just plug the cables into the connectors and you can start using broadband.
