Control Resonant Steelbook Edition - Xbox Series X
The story takes place in Manhattan
Control Resonant Xbox Series X will take you into a distorted Manhattan on the brink of paranormal destruction. As Dylan Faden, equipped with extraordinary abilities, you will confront a cosmic threat that is disrupting the very foundations of reality. After years of imprisonment at the hands of the Federal Bureau of Control, Dylan is deployed directly into the epicentre of the crisis, where it's not just about the world's survival, but also his own humanity.
With supernatural abilities
Facing chaotic forces, you must master new supernatural abilities and confront the threats engulfing the city. Manhattan is flooded by the corrupting influences of the Hiss, the dangerous organism known as the Mold, and other paranormal entities that are transforming the familiar environment into a dangerous battlefield. Every clash in Control Resonant Xbox Series X pushes the boundaries of your capabilities and forces you to adapt to a constantly changing reality.
Stop the spreading disaster
The story of Control Resonant Xbox Series X will guide you through vast areas of the city, connecting a personal quest with the fate of the entire world. Dylan tries to understand his abilities, stop the spreading catastrophe, and find his sister Jesse Faden, the Director of the FBC, once again. Control Resonant Xbox Series X builds on the award-winning CONTROL and expands its world with new threats, emotions, and intense action experiences.
IDENTITY
Face a paranormal catastrophe
Manhattan is on the verge of collapse, and humanity with it. As Dylan Faden, you will gradually uncover the motivations of the people and beings who survive in the ruins of a city marked by a paranormal catastrophe. Each encounter brings you closer to the truth about the workings of the Federal Bureau of Control and reveals the horrors that threaten the very essence of human existence. Meanwhile, Dylan struggles to rediscover his own identity in a world where reality no longer has firm boundaries.
MANHATTAN
The city's transformations through divine interventions
The journey through the city in Control Resonant Xbox Series X is full of danger, but also crucial opportunities. Old and new faces appear in an environment that is constantly being reshaped by a divine force, changing the form of streets, buildings, and the very laws of reality. Every step forward means a confrontation with what has been lost and with what is yet to come. Manhattan becomes a living witness to the transformation of a world where nothing is certain and everything can be redefined.
HUMANITY
As a test subject, you will gain supernatural abilities
Dylan's past is the key to his strength. The raw experiences from years spent as a test subject translate into abilities that you gradually learn to control and develop. An in-depth progression system allows you to shape how his power manifests and adapt it to new threats. Relationships and bonds also play a crucial role in Control Resonant Xbox Series X, helping Dylan to maintain his humanity on the journey from a test subject to a paranormal weapon.
COMBAT
Shape-shifting weapons adapt to the situation
Combat is direct, dynamic, and constantly evolving. You use the environment, elemental abilities, and the raw power of the shape-shifting weapon, Aberrant, which adapts to every situation. From the crushing blows of a heavy hammer to the fast and precise blades in both hands, the weapon changes as needed, forcing you to react to new challenges. Exploring the warped parts of Manhattan in Control Resonant Xbox Series X will also take you beyond the material world into a disturbing metaphysical space that reflects Dylan's fractured mind.
