The ideal partner for travelling

The shortcomings of many navigation devices are their inaccuracies and errors that can lead you to places where you really would not want to be. The Garmin navigation takes care of this problem with its Real Direction feature, which uses different orientation signs and symbols instead of "branching" at the turning point when providing information about a possible turning, such as buildings, traffic lights, or other prominent places. Instead of the austere and inaccurate "in 200m turn to the left", you will get more precise instructions like "turn left behind the church". You will also appreciate the lane sorting help when driving, with the cross-country photo previews of intersections and speed limit warnings.  Another very practical feature of this model is the integrated RDS-TMC Traffic Information Receiver, which functions in the search for traffic reports and announcements and then alerts the driver if there are any complications on the plied route. Moreover, the navigation system will offer a more appropriate route if it would be time-saving to avoid the complications on such route.

Points of interest

In addition to its custom points of interest, such as petrol stations, restaurants, hotels, rest areas and more, the navigation also uses information from the Foursquare database. And as a result, you will get the data on millions of your favourite shops, restaurants, hotels and other businesses in your hand. In addition, in conjunction with the TripAdvisor database, you will receive ratings and reviews from millions of other users.

Current traffic information

You can connect wirelessly to the navigation with your phone via the Bluetooth. By linking the navigation with the Smartphone Link mobile app for Android and iOS, you'll get more current and more credible traffic information. The navigations will appear on your display screen and will be taken into consideration when devising the optimal route to your destination. The application also provides the weather forecast or you can search for the destination on your phone and send it wirelessly to the navigation. In order to fully concentrate on your driving without having to reach for your phone whenever someone calls you, the manufacturer has equipped the navigation with Smart Notification. This allows you to display incoming calls, SMS messages, or other notifications from your phone when connected to your phone.
