Kingston DataTraveler Locker + G3 16GB
Secure the transmission of your sensitive personal data with hardware encryption of the Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ G3. Setting a password will prevent your documents from getting into the wrong hands in the event of loss or theft of a flash drive. Ten wrong password attempts will format the flash disk and protect your privacy.
The advantage is USB 3.0 so you will not be limited when writing or reading data from the flash drive. Writing speed including data encryption is up to 8x higher than the previous generation G2. At the same time, the flash drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and can easily connect to older computers.
DataTraveler Locker+ G3 offers the fascinating USBtoCloud technology by ClevX, the optional Auto Backup feature. Users can choose to automatically back up their data from DataTraveler Locker+ G3 to Google Drive, OneDrive (Microsoft), Amazon S3, Dropbox, or Box. In the event of a lost or stolen hard drive, their data is backed up in a safe place in its current form.
Supported operating systems are Windows and Mac OS X. For proper function it is not necessary to install any additional software, everything is contained on the flash drive itself.
