A wealth of connectivity options is also available, including fast Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, a pair of USB-C ports, and a microSD card reader.

With this feature, you can easily switch between games without leaving the system environment.
Modern AMD Ryzen Z2 Processor
With the modern AMD Ryzen Z2 processor, designed specifically for the needs of mobile gaming, you get not only extraordinary computing power but also energy efficiency that extends battery life without compromising on smoothness. Furthermore, AFMF (AMD Fluid Motion Frames) technology ensures a significantly smoother picture thanks to smart frame interpolation. The ROG Ally is ready to deliver top performance today and in the future, with a stable frame rate, shorter loading times and comfortable operation even during extended gaming sessions.
Great Performance and Battery Life
A great gaming experience isn't just about performance, it's also about endurance, and that's where the ROG Xbox Ally X excels. The Ally X is equipped with a powerful 80Wh battery that ensures even longer, uninterrupted gaming. Thanks to the combination of a high-capacity battery and the new Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, the Ally X achieves an exceptional balance between performance and power consumption. The processor is designed to deliver top performance even in power-saving mode, so even with Silent mode activated, you'll enjoy smooth gameplay that approaches the performance of Performance mode, but with less strain on the battery and fans.
Sophisticated ergonomics and advanced haptics
The ROG Xbox Ally was designed to offer a gaming experience comparable to a classic Xbox console, but in the compact and portable form of a handheld. Its ergonomic design, deeper contouring, and textured grips ensure a secure hold even during long gaming sessions. The controls feel natural and familiar to anyone who has ever held an Xbox controller; the asymmetrical stick layout, iconic ABXY buttons, and overall device response create the impression that you're playing on a full-fledged console. This is all complemented by haptic technology, which adds another layer of immersion to the game. The ROG Xbox Ally X uses advanced vibration motors and adds impulse triggers for even more intense feedback. Thanks to these, you feel every hit, explosion, or tension in the controller exactly where it's happening in the game.
Customise with Armoury Crate SE
The specialised Armoury Crate SE platform provides a clear and intuitive interface that lets you manage all the important aspects of the device from one place. Whether you want to adjust performance based on the game's demands, change the fan settings for quieter operation, fine-tune stick sensitivity, or create custom profiles for individual titles, Armoury Crate SE lets you do it quickly and without complicated setup. Everything is designed with the needs of the gaming community and enthusiasts in mind, who want complete control over how their device functions.
