Alza Days - Laptops
- The campaign runs from June 1 to June 22, 2026 (“Campaign”).
- The list of products currently available in the Campaign (“Products”) can be found on this website below.
- A Product is considered purchased at a discounted price as part of the Campaign only once the order has been confirmed by Alza and the payment has been completed by the customer. Simply placing the Product in the cart does not constitute a purchase. If the Buyer selects cash-on-delivery payment, submitting the order to Alza within the Campaign period is sufficient, but the discount will only be valid upon successful payment upon delivery.
- Alza reserves the right to limit the number of Products a single buyer may purchase during the Campaign for certain items. Should such purchase limits apply, Alza's system will automatically prevent buyers from adding more Products to their cart than the permitted purchase quantity for the duration of the Campaign.
- Available stock of select Products will be allocated among consumers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, and other countries served by Alza.
- Discounts on Products are valid only during the Campaign period or while supplies last. Alza reserves the right to change the selection of discounted Products at any time during the Campaign.

These days, defining what a laptop is not so simple. Laptops are no longer just expensive typewriters that are unable to handle demanding programs. In recent years, laptops have dropped to the same price level as desktop computers, with some models able to work for over eight hours on a single battery charge. Laptops offer sufficient performance and features for users to replace their desktop computers completely, not to mention their compact size, low weight and portability.
Technical details
Laptops consist of the same hardware components as desktop computers. Such components have customised parameters (primarily reduced size and energy consumption) for use in laptops, and therefore use different internal ports and slots, but the principle is the same as for larger components used in desktop computers. With respect to compatibility and auxiliary equipment, external ports are generally the same as on desktop PCs.
How to choose a laptop
When choosing a new laptop, it is important to clarify what you need it for. Important parameters when choosing a laptop include the screen size, processor type, amount of RAM, graphics card (in case you want to play games or work with multimedia), weight, and available equipment.
