MacBook Pro 13" Retina ENG 2017 Space Grey

Ingenious. Whatever you touch.

It's faster and more powerful than before, while being substantially thinner and lighter. It has the brightest, most colourful Mac notebook display ever. The new MacBook Pro is built on groundbreaking ideas. And it's ready for yours.

Unbeatable in every aspect.

The new MacBook Pro elevates the notebook to a whole new level of performance and portability. Wherever your ideas take you, you'll get there faster than ever with cutting-edge graphics, Intel's high-performance Kaby Lake processors, and state-of-the-art storage.

The brightest, most colourful Mac notebook display ever.

The display in the MacBook Pro is the best ever in a Mac notebook. It features bright LED backlighting and a high contrast ratio, delivering deep blacks and bright whites. Its large pixel aperture and variable refresh rate make it more power efficient than previous generations. And it's the first portable Mac display that supports a wide colour gamut for even more vibrant greens and reds. This makes for more true-to-life pictures with realistically vivid details — essential for graphic design, color grading, and editing.

Speakers that speak for themselves. Loudly.

The newly designed speakers have up to twice the dynamic range and up to 58 percent louder volume. The bass frequency is even two and a half times louder. And because the speakers are connected directly to system power, they reach up to three times the peak amplification. Therefore, the MacBook Pro is an excellent choice for mixing a track on the fly, editing video on location, or enjoying a movie on the go.

More responsive keyboard. More expansive trackpad.

Interacting with the new MacBook Pro is more enjoyable in all respects. The reconstructed keyboard features our new second-generation butterfly mechanism, which we've perfected for greater comfort and responsiveness. The Force Touch trackpad is considerably larger, giving your fingers plenty of room to gesture and click.

The most powerful and versatile port ever.

Thunderbolt 3 combines ultra-high bandwidth with the extraordinary versatility of USB-C to create one universal port. A single connector delivering up to 40Gb/s of throughput - for twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 2 - that integrates data transfer, charging, and video output. Existing devices are easily connected with a cable or adapter. And Thunderbolt 3 is reversible, so no matter how you plug in, it’s always right side up.

That's why nothing beats Mac.

macOS is the operating system that powers every Mac. It takes full advantage of the hardware, is easy to use, and looks nice. It includes an amazing collection of apps you'll enjoy using every day. And there's also iCloud, with a host of imaginative features that support Mac, iOS devices, and Apple Watch.
