ddMicrosoft Surface Book is a convertible notebook with a removable display that has very good hardware. The dominant components are especially 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, but not a smart Surface Connect wireless interface or TPM encryption processor.
The newest Surface Book model offers a powerful hardware base for professionals working in the design or development industry, as well as for computer games fans. Due to its compact and lightweight magnesium alloy body, it allows for an excellent movability and its powerful battery, it will reliably handle an all-day load.
A stable hardware base consists of the dual-core Intel Core i5 Skylake processor with a clock rate from 2.4 to 3GHz. The smooth running of professional applications and latest games is provided by the 8GB RAM together with the 256GB SSD, which also provides safe and high-speed storage for your data.
This laptop uses the removable PixelSense display that is optimised for use with the Surface Pen stylus. The display has a size of 13.5" and the resolution of 3000× 2000, which, in combination with the Intel HD Graphics card, offers top-class graphics.
Port-wise, the Surface Book features USB 3.0 ports, a mini DisplayPort, and a memory card reader. There is also a multifunction Surface Connect user interface for wireless connection to smart TVs, a monitor, or a projector. The laptop is complemented by the front and back webcam with a resolution of 5 and 8Mpx and by the above-mentioned Surface Pen stylus with a magnetic surface for a reliable attaching to the left side of the laptop. There is also a TPM encryption processor for important data security.
