OLED visual technology eliminates the need for LED backlight, since the OLED matrix itself is made of LEDs. OLED independent pixel programming means that the brightness of each dot can be controlled separately, giving OLED TVs improved contrast compared to their predecessors. This screen type also boasts great viewing angles, realistic colour rendering, and very low power consumption.
