I was surprised by the really fast start-up. We also have a more expensive TV at home with much worse sound, to which we had to buy a soundbar, not needed here. Easy initial setup. I was pleased with the really light weight when mounting it on the bracket. Clear menu and "GUIDE" - list of programs. Possibility to use apps, HbbTV, etc.

TV at a great price, so hopefully in time they will fine tune some more apps that are missing like HBO Max, O2, vodafone tv etc. What's really bad, though, is playing movies from a connected disc. We have movies mostly in AVI formats. and MKV and neither of the formats can be played, the only thing that can be played each time is the MP4 format. So hopefully some update will do the trick.

The vendor (alza) does not tell you the allowed formats at all, and the manufacturer's website vaguely states that MPEG4 is ok. But they don't specify which variant (divx or xvid). I can't even find out from the device's built-in help. To assume that if it's not differentiated, it can do both is a terrible mistake. Only Divx can do it, but not Xvid. You can't install the missing codec or vlc player, the Hisense store doesn't include anything like that. Since my film library is all in xvid, this device is completely useless to me and I'm returning it.
