I've had the TV on for a while so far so good. Everything's going well.
I bought the TV on 6.1.2024, together with an extended warranty of +3 years and a voucher for 6 months of free watching. But it's no use to me. I found out that this applies to products purchased before 31.12.23 and registered max until the end of January. However, Alza lists this for TCL products even now in January: (

I was originally planning to buy a Samsung TV, but when I saw a sale on TCL for 25K, I did some research and found out that compared to the 835, it has a lot more dimmable zones and is totally cool with the big players like Samsug, LG, etc. So I went for it and I don't regret it at all! The TV looks premium, the picture and sound is beautiful and it's really stunning, like literally the first few days I felt like I was in a movie theater: D! I recommend it!
Picture - Mini LED is really noticeable, especially if you watch movies with quality e.g. 60+ Mbit with HDR.
Black is really black. The vast majority of films have black bars at the top and bottom and I was worried they wouldn't be truly black, but they are and I'm thrilled about it !
The sound is great, it's not overdone, it's not overbassed as I was a little worried when I found out the TV has a subwoofer. We usually watch in the evening and never put the sound over 20.
The system is friendly, all settings are easy to understand, nothing crashes, everything is fast. Thanks to Android, it is possible to download all sorts of applications that competitors such as. You can't download Samsung.
The peripherals are fine, the controller makes a completely normal impression on me, I like the voice dictation option. I don't really understand why people "hate" the controller so much, it's not premium but I wouldn't call it "crap".
The extended warranty is another nice plus, I recommend doing the registration on a PC, it didn't work on my mobile via the TCL site as it should.
KODI - yes I take that as a separate plus, as it's one of the things that made me want android: D.
I will also mention that the brightness is really fabulous and even the sun shines through the room at ease !
A little unthought out subwoofer placement, it is quite difficult to find a wall mount when the manufacturer specifies at least 3 cm gap from the subwoofer. In the end, we didn't fully maintain the gap anyway, but it has no effect on the sound: ).
Sometimes the system behaves a bit strangely and a couple of times I've had it freeze, but only when I've turned Kodi off, if I don't turn it off and go back to the menu via the little house on the controller it's fine, so just watch out for that.
It doesn't work to turn off the TV via Goole Home routines, anyway I don't want to take it completely as a minus of the TV, it could be a problem in Google Home, I read somewhere that it helps to uninstall updates in the "Google" app on the TV, but I haven't tried it yet.
Dolby Vision is automatically turned on and there is no way to turn it off for movies that support it, it's quite annoying as the brightness is incredibly strong at night.

My second TV from TCL, again I can't complain about the picture or sound, they are perfect for this TV and especially for this price. But absolutely, as with the previous one, I'm a little sad about the operating system and its controls. The TV loses and finds wifi, sometimes you click on an app and nothing happens. You click a second time, a third time, a fourth time, a fifth time, and behold, it opens. And yes, I counted, I'm not overcharging. You uninstall the app and lo and behold, it's still in your app menu. My previous TCL, a generation (and price range) lower, suffered from the same ailments. If you can get past that, it's great television. But it sucks.
