The camera doesn't have a button to lock the last file to prevent it from being overwritten. Instead, it only saves 5 seconds before pressing the button (or before automatic impact detection) and another 25 seconds after. I couldn't find a way to change this in the settings. If something happened, I, as a driver, had to react to it first and only dealt with the camera once it was safe, so I might be pressing the button maybe 10–30 seconds after the dangerous situation has ended. So I need it to save about the last 3 minutes before pressing the button. This camera can't do that. Pressing the button only helps to find the time of the event more easily in the app on your phone or PC to download the video. But you have to do it before it gets overwritten! Because this crucial feature is missing, I'm docking 2 stars. Everything else works brilliantly.

I needed a rear camera set for my new car. I was extremely happy with the 70mai Dash Cam Pro and said I would stay with the brand. However, for a reason that is absolutely incomprehensible to me, this camera CANNOT use parking mode without hardwire. Both cameras have a built-in battery. That's pretty disappointing to me. I also miss the lack of voice commands, as with the Dash Cam Pro.
