Very good performance
It practically does not melt and the cooler in the package is perfectly sufficient.
The graphics are surprisingly good.
Almost perfect APU for a budget home desktop on which you can even play a little game
Since it's RDNA 3 so there is support for FSR and all sorts of graphical amd gadgets
It has no comparable price competition from Intel
The 8600g is a little more expensive and has 2x the graphics performance
Few PCIe lines. It's not capable of running dedicated graphics at full throttle. But it's not that bad to see the performance
Needs dual Chanel memory to maximize graphics performance. Ideally min 6000mhz

Decent Ryzen 5 5500 level performance, for reasonable money you can upgrade to the latest AM5 and DDR5 platform
Very low consumption
of course it doesn't heat up
decent graphics for the casual user
from the 8th Ryzen series I expected a bit more performance on the processor side
Graphics card like RX560 or GTX750Ti. It's better than the Ryzen 7 5700G, but only by about 15%
DDR5 need preferably 7200MHz and more to make it work, don't even consider below 6000MHz.
