I have owned the scooter for a year and a half, it has traveled 230 km, which corresponds to a maximum of 10 charging cycles. Recently the scooter started shutting down while driving at 50% battery. I filed a complaint with Alza, but it was rejected on the grounds that it happened due to poor care of the battery. They cited reasons such as storage when the battery is completely discharged, repeated charging immediately after driving, charging at low temperatures (e. g. in the garage), long-term overcharging of the battery and exposing the battery to extreme temperatures. According to Alza, the full capacity of the battery is legally guaranteed for six months, although they acknowledge that the battery is damaged, although not fundamentally. They suggested I buy a new battery for less than 10,000 CZK. It is incomprehensible to me how the battery can wear out so quickly after so few charge cycles and low mileage. I was very disappointed with Alza' s approach to complaints and I certainly cannot recommend this scooter to anyone who expects long life and fair handling of complaints.
