I use 50% PWM when exceeding specific temperatures I graduate to 100%. As they produce a huge noise above 2,000 rpm, this must be taken into account. If noise is a priority, it is better to get a classic P12 fan that runs at 1800 rpm. The MAX can rev up to almost double its speed and make itself known - which is handy when the case starts to overheat. Having the capacity for additional flow is nice, at least you can hear by ear that something is happening in the cabinet, for example that the filters are clogged.
Really very solid performance
low price alone, let alone in relation to performance
at full speed, they're making a lot of noise. (for quiet operation it is necessary to throttle them somewhere to 2 thousand, then one can hear only the air flow, not the noise from the engine as at full power and even at these speeds they have a much larger air flow than ordinary cheap fans)
it is necessary to realize whether the MAX version is worthwhile, if the priority is noise, it is enough to buy a P12 which runs at 1800rpm and at these speeds even MAX delivers exactly the same noise and performance.

I took a ride on the reviews and got burned. I hope the review will help someone not to get burned too. Correcting noctua is noctua. Different price category but as a result these attempts are not free either. They will be replaced by a12x25. I'm not a beta tester. If there is a revision that will fix these ailments it would be a fine fan even at a higher price. If you run at a constant speed they are quite fine. (not counting the snappy piece)
vibrations really minimal. Compared to the p12 which vibrated a lot in the horizontal position until I had to take them out, these are OK.
when you pick them up, they feel premium. With more weight and a more robust design compared to the p12
the sound that the p12 makes around 1100 rpm is not there
strong pressure. Really an improvement over p12
you can really hear the bearings rustling. It's not a tragedy but if these fans are the noisiest component it's really not pleasant.
one of the four purchased occasionally starts clicking/knocking even when it has no obstruction. Tested out of case. (he's going on claim)

It is quiet, at max. speed of about 3200 RPM, but it is of course audible, but it does not whistle, does not hum, does not vibrate .
