When the time of the first feedings came, I enthusiastically bought 4 different bibs in an attempt to make my baby as comfortable as possible. We rotated them, my daughter liked to pick and choose. 3 bibs from other brands have gone over time, none lasted more than a year. The silicone one lasted the least - it broke, the plastic one broke the clasp. Babybjorn is the only exception that has been in service for 4 years and we still have it. When clothes are nice and spaghetti with ketchup or other food that gets dirty and is hard to wash, we still use the bib. It has withstood everything so far - regular washing in the dishwasher, biting and not so gentle removal by the child. The smaller bib is useful if you start with the baby food already in the 4th month. My daughter was already small at 6 months, but she was also quite chubby. So from then on we only used the bigger one and the small one was useless, if I were buying today I would buy two big ones (and not the cheaper ones that don't last). The smaller one in the set is really for a while. The design is really well thought out - it fits perfectly, the clasp is adjustable so that it fits both chubby and skinny, the bucket holds its shape well and catches a lot. The plastic is just flexible enough, it doesn't squeeze and at the same time holds its shape (unlike the silicone one, where the trapped food often spilled out of the soft bucket, especially when the little one was more active at the table). Maintenance is easy and surprisingly, even after all these years, the bib still looks nice. From my point of view it really is the best money can buy and I would definitely buy again. In this case, the higher price is definitely worth it, which will pay for itself in terms of service life.
