I quickly compared the device to the Bosch D-tect 120 radar detector, which reliably, repeatably and on the first try found absolutely everything in the wall (except that it can' t tell what it found), this one found almost nothing. I am returning and keeping a radar detector three times more expensive.
Compared to the D-tect 120, it almost doesn' t work.

I have read the instructions several times but still could not get the detector to show anything meaningful. On a brick wall he reported a 1m x 1m area of constantly live cable, there would have to be a whole network of cables. He may have found the real one, but it's hard to tell from the false alarm. On the other hand, at other times the live cable just under the plaster (and live - there was a load) was not found at all. Likewise, the metal detection in the wall was kind of all over the place. Unfortunately, I didn't get the feeling that I could rely on it, and at that point, such a device is not worth it to me. Maybe it works better for some people, but it didn't convince me.
